Is Your Yard Ready for Summer Activities?

Sacramento Lawn Care Tips, Uncategorized · July 11, 2016

Summer is in full swing and you know what that means -barbecues, grilling, outdoor playtime, relaxing, outdoor parties and so much summer fun! Is your yard ready for the summer as well? Does it need a little sprucing up or TLC to make the most of summer?

When you start playing around with different ideas for your lawn, there are many factors to consider. First and foremost, view your yard as a whole. Many homeowners make the mistake of getting bogged down on the importance of curb appeal, which yes, it is important, but a yard is also an extension of your home. It’s another area that’s to be enjoyed and admired.

Fun Times
yard fun

An excellent and fun way to use a yard is to center it around the family. Thick, luscious grass not only looks beautiful and is perfect for picnics and star gazing, it’s great for a game area. Consider setting up a portion of your yard to go towards family fun by setting up a volleyball, badminton, or corn hole set. Get the family together, even call some friends, and have a great time making memories to last a life time.

Repair any patches

Your yard is another area to be proud of. One that’s visible to all and is the first impression a new guest receives upon arriving to your home. It’s hard to want to invite people over to play yard games when you’ve got patches of brown or missing grass. Call the experts at Bell Sod & Hydroseed and we’ll get you’re yard fixed up and barbecue ready. Life is short and summer is shorter, make the most of your outdoor space.
